  • CAB - Liz Murray

    • During the most recent meeting, the CAB solicited high priority issues from members. Vice President Murray shared a variety of items brought forward by other community members, such as grass cutting and herbicide distribution, neighbors putting bulk trash out after pick up dates, and 18 wheeler trucks driving through neighborhood areas.

    • Mayor Woodfin also attended the meeting and relayed recent crime stats to attendees.

      • Mayor Woodfin described a new program the City is exploring that reduces the number of entrances and exits within neighborhoods experiencing high volumes of crimes.

      • Vice President Murray reported to CAB and the Mayor about providing neighborhood associations with funding and resources to restart monthly mailed newsletters.

      • Ms. Boehm highlighted successes from recent Birmingham City School graduates, including awarded scholarship totals, and military enlistment.
