City Representatives
India Bailey, Chief of Staff for Councilor Hunter Williams - District 2
There’s a contingent sale on the property where there was some cutting of trees. They’ve reminded PEP about the permits for the property & requested PEP to give us a heads up if anything happens with it.
New city councilors are being sworn in on October 28.
Liz gave an update to India about the issue with the Festival Center fencing.
We spoke about noise concerns from a neighbor’s email.
Valerie A. Abbott, Councilor - District 3
Councilor Abbott stated the specific noise ordinance rules.
There’s an upcoming vote for a new city councilor president.

Lee Shook of createbirmingham.org is trying to build a network of houses that would be available for filming locations, even rundown properties. More information is also available at filmbirmingham.org.
Alice Williams spoke about a disaster preparedness event on November 8.
A BDoT traffic calming event is planned for November 17. They already have 800 people in the queue for traffic calming requests.
We spoke about the zoning changes to Crestwood South, which is mostly minimal within our neighborhood.
