Crestwood Park
Crestwood Park is a 12.11 acres park located on the north side of Crestwood Boulevard between 53rd and 55th Streets in the Crestwood community of Birmingham. The park features a fenced football-sized playing field, a jogging track, pickle ball and tennis courts, a swimming pool, a playground and many other amenities. Currently the park's athletic fields are used not only for youth football, but also by amateur soccer leagues. While the park is technically located in the bounds of Crestwood North, the park is seen as a shared point of interest for both neighborhoods.

Clairmont Walking Trail
The Clairmont Walking Trail is a 0.8 mile trail perched along the top of Red Mountain on Clairmont Avenue. The trail offers views of Downtown Birmingham and serves as a place for gathering and enjoying the great outdoors. In 2019, the Freshwater Land Trust designated the Clairmont Walking Trail as a part of the Red Rock Trail System - a network of trails, parks, bike lanes, and sidewalks in Jefferson County, Alabama.
The Clairmont Walking Trail planning committee is actively meeting to discuss continued improvements to the trail. If you’re interested in joining the planning committee, contact Dr. William Meneese.
Crestwood Community Band
The Crestwood Community Band is a group of adult, amateur musicians dedicated to bringing music to the community in venues where audience participation is possible and encouraged as part of the show. At CCB shows, you can expect to hear all sorts of music; pop, rock, show tunes, holiday and patriotic music. Check out their website to stay up to date on upcoming performances.
The Shoppes of Crestwood
The Shoppes of Crestwood is a neighborhood shopping center located at 5514 Crestwood Blvd on the northwest corner of the intersection between Crestwood Boulevard and 56th Street South. This shopping center houses many neighborhood favorites including restaurants, antiques, coffee, a pharmacy, a food market and more. It was developed by Ervin Jackson's Jackson Securities and Investment Company as part of their 200-acre post-war Crestwood residential community. The shopping center opened in 1956 after a tumultuous battle between Crestwood residents and the developers. After an unsuccessful case that went all the way to the United States Supreme Court, Crestwood residents seemed to embrace the shopping center as it has been a staple of the community ever since.
Crestwood Festival
The Crestwood Festival Center is a 352,280-square foot shopping center located on a 41-acre site cut into Red Mountain at 7001 Crestwood Blvd. Formerly known as the Eastwood Festival Centre, this shopping center first opened in 1989 and includes many shopping, dining and entertainment amenities.
Levite Jewish Community Center
The Levite Jewish Community Center is a family-oriented recreational and educational facility that is open to the entire community. Located at 3960 Montclair Road, the LJCC is home to an 8000 sq. ft fitness center with training equipment, a five-mile hiking and biking trail, and a large outdoor pool. Alongside fitness offerings, the LJCC also offers a wide range of other activities and programs.
