      • Winter Reading Challenge: participants go to library’s website, log readings and be entered into a drawing for prizes

      • Program to provide Medicare information at Downtown Branch, Feb. 6 12-1PM

      • Bards & Brews, Birmingham Improve Theater (2208 7th Ave S) Feb 7 6PM-9PM

      • February is library fine forgiveness month

      • Stairs are being installed in the Downtown branch

    • CRR, Harold Houston

      • Provided trash and brush schedule in addition to current CSNA 2020 Fiscal Year financial statements:

        • $15,690.24 available for non-capital projects

        • $8,396.09 available for capital projects

        • $24,086.33 total balance

      • NUSA will be in Arkansas this year and more information on planning is forthcoming

      • Is following up on a report of a tree that has fallen on the Clairmont walking trail

    • Hunter Williams, Councilor, District 2 (represented by India Bailey)

      • Anti-Littering signs are in process

      • VP Murray mentioned that changes to the Clairmont walking trail sign are still not implemented

      • Clairmont resurfacing is planned

      • City completed LED streetlight upgrade project and now all city streetlights are managed by Alabama Power

    • Terri Michal, School Board, District 2

      • March 3rd election, Constitutional Amendment 1 (vote no) on the ballot would replace the state school board with one appointed by the Governor and State Senate

      • State failing list for 2019 was released
        Increase in B’s and F’s (3 and 1, respectively)

      • Attendance push has improved overall school performance
