   • Motion to approve minutes from July 2019 meeting made by Christian Behrens, seconded by Todd Snyder and approved by unanimous voice vote

       • Neighborhood Night Out planned for the First Tuesday of October

5. City Representatives

   • Birmingham Library - Vincent Solfronk

     • Closed Sept. 1 & 2 for Labor Day

     • Sept. 6 closed for City function

     • Bards & Brews at Iron City Grill, Sept. 6

     • Social workers will be coming to branches to provide services, will be at Eastwood Branch August 28th and are at main branch every Wednesday morning

     • Avondale branch will begin providing notary services in the near future

   • Hunter Williams - City Council, District 2 (represented by India Bailey)

     • Clairmont repaving is on the prioritized list

   • Valerie A. Abbott - City Council President, District 3

     • Provided tickets to the UAB opening football game

     • There is a moratorium on self-storage buildings

     • Updates coming to Richard Arrington Jr. to improve pedestrian safety

   • Mary Bohem, School Board, District 3

     • Provided multiple announcements related to Birmingham City Schools
