      • City of Birmingham Budget, Income & Expenditures

        • 79.7% of the general fund comes from business licenses and taxes. And only 6.9% comes from property tax.

        • The annual fiscal year for the city: it's July 1 to June 30th

        • Of the whole budget, 76% goes to personnel, which is about average.
